Our mission:

"Putting our faith to work so all might know that faith works."

FaithWorks primarily seeks to minister to the 50,000 residents of Glynn County (we also help some in neighboring counties) who are not connected to a local church with professional and volunteer assistance by providing pastoral care and counseling, food, and financial assistance to families in crisis.  Our funding comes from contracts with local businesses, grants, and contributions from individuals, churches, and businesses.    Last year, we actually served over 7000 people, but we are only scratching the surface as it comes to helping our neighbors in need.  Almost 100% or our funds are spent locally.

The FaithWorks Star:

The FaithWorks Star represents the creative, redemptive, and sustaining power of God.  The ten rays signifying the Ten Commandments extend to various lengths showing that God reaches us wherever we are – on the mountain top or deep in the valley – and touches us with his love, mercy, and grace.  Logos for the various FaithWorks ministries each have three rays to reinforce the creative, redemptive, and sustaining power.
